The Liberty range offers some luxurious appointments as standard such as climate control air-conditioning, leather interior highlights such as gear shift and steering wheel, and on the 2.5i Heritage model and above a sunroof (dual on the the wagons).

The Liberty range also offers several performance options, with both naturally aspirated engines to the award winning 2.5 Litre Turbocharged GT engine.  Liberty also has a 3.0-litre, six cylinder engine option.  All Subaru engines are horizontally opposed Boxer Engines that sit lower in the engine bay which contributes to the handling of all Subaru models.
